- There are about 1 million registered blind people in the UK. There are no marches for them, no 'months' for them, no flags for them, no nothing. Same goes for the deaf, people in wheelchairs etc. It's only 'LGBQTA+' which *as we all know* really just means 'transgender'.I worked here since 2010. I have never seen any comparable celebration of the disabled or indeed any at all. I don’t feel particularly welcome in this environment.
