- Damar Hamlin genuinely is what people are saying of him. A good person, a role model to the community and someone who always understood the significance of his stature. Local kids looked up to him when he was at Pitt, and he embraced that.
- It was a beautiful week in Pittsburgh, but Pitt practiced indoors all week. Why? "Extra careful. You've got people in the hills. They live in the hills and they've got binoculars. Mountaineers, man, they're up there. In the mountains right there. Hey, take nothing for granted."

- Aaron Donald is a quiet kid from Penn Hills who works harder than anybody else. That’s what it is: nobody works harder than him. Nobody.
- Two things: 1. Jordan Addison is not in the transfer portal, which means coaches from other teams cannot contact him. 2. Jordan Addison is in Los Angeles today.
- Pitt finishes the 2021 season 11-3 overall. Coastal Division champs and ACC champs with more exposure and success than the program has enjoyed in 40 years.
- Four-star RB @willisyasin6 just committed to Pitt. The top-200 prospect in the class of 2024 chose the Panthers over offers from Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, West Virginia and more.
- Alabama QB and former 4-star prospect Eli Holstein is transferring to PittTime to get to work!!!! #H2P
- The fact that Beanie Bishop - a professional football player who spent 1 year at WVU - stomped on the Pitt logo is part of what makes college sports great. And the fact that Pitt fans and players are getting irate about it is, too.
- Dave Wannstedt will be Pitt's honorary captain on Thursday night.
- This seems like big news for the local concert scene. 15,000 seats plus more on the grass could mean a venue to get some of the shows that would typically go to Star Lake.Big news for the South Shore as @RiverhoundsSC announced planned expansion for the home of @RiverhoundsSC @RivetersSC From 5,500 to over 15,000 so that the soccer team can move up to and compete in the #USL Division One Plus 8-12 Concerts per year
- Pitt signed a pair of 2-star defensive ends in the 2016 recruiting class. This week, both were named All-Americans.
