    The PV Baseball Family lost one of our own yesterday Rick Lutz, well known in the youth baseball community passed away on 3/26/20 with his family by his side. A fixture at every PV game over the last 6 years, Lutz was PV’s biggest fan. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family

    Best wishes to Midshipman Matt Novakowski, US Merchant Marine Acad. He will major in Marine&Systems Engineering & will graduate with a BS and an Officer’s Commission in the US Armed Forces. He is also a catcher for the baseball team. We salute all who protect our freedom!!

    Freshmen Frank Cascio and Carson Weis recently collected their first collegiate hits. Cascio hit an RBI double off the left field wall and Weis hit a solo home run in his first collegiate at bat. Congrats boys, keep up the good work!

    After going 6-13 with a HR,4R and 4RBI in the NCAA Reg.,Carson Weis’s career at WP concluded. He was a 4 year starter who had a .315 Avg, .383 OBP, 191 H, 141R, and 120 RBI. Congratulations on a great career! ⚾️⚾️
