- The police officers and staff in Newry, Mourne & Down District send our warmest congratulations to Jarlath Burns on his election last night as President of the GAA. Well done Jarlath! Well deserved and we wish you every success for your term of office.
- Thank you to everyone for all your help and support and who shared our appeal to find missing teenager 15 year John Paul (JP) Smith. Sadly, we are no longer searching for JP and offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends this evening.
- Today we donated all of our found and retrieved bicycles that were unclaimed to Cycle Recycle Newry who recycle old bicycles back into the local community.
- The Police Search and Rescue Team were out today transporting Domiciliary Nurses round Dromore. This meant that the Nurses could make the appointments, focus on providing care for the vulnerable, and not have to worry about the driving conditions. #KeepingPeopleSafe
