    Carlo’s Irizarry is our second blue collar winner. Carlos went 3 for 5 with 6 RBI including a huge grand slam propelling the team to a sweep today. He also had numerous hit saving plays defensively. Solid pitching performances by Nick Fitzgerald, Fisher Druck and Josh Berzonski.

    We travel south for Carlos Irizarry. He’s from Paul VI High School in Chantilly, VA. Carlos is a MIF who will bring a lot of energy and is a gamer. Looking forward to seeing him in the blue and white!

    According to the collegiate baseball news , NCAA D3 poll your Lions check in at #24 in the preseason rankings ! Coming off a 33 win 2019 season the lions will open up February 21 vs #38 Randolph-Macon ! Then head down to #32 Christoper Newport the following day !

    Christian Lubic is our next commit! He’ll be coming from the baseball power Red Land High School. He is one of a number of talented pitchers we have committed that will look to reload the staff. Christian is a physical RHP with huge upside to be a power arm. Welcome Christian!

    Little late , but our blue collar player of the game from the lions 8-5 win over Hood was , the Captain Chase Smith. Smith was 2 for 3 with 4 runs scored wrecking havoc on the base paths . The well rounded Smith , also drives a stick #bluecollar

    Congrats to Drew Sassaman! He gets the blue collar helmet for our win today. Drew turned a double play in the 1st inning, then had a tough two strike at-bat and doubled home two runs in the 2nd. He’d add a single and a walk later and 2 runs.
