We mourn the loss of Detective John Druding from our Northwest Detective Division after a battle with cancer yesterday. He was a 46 year old, 19 year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department. Keep his family and co-workers in prayer! @PhillyPolice

On Sunday Active Police Officer Glenn Holmes from the 9th District died suddenly at home. This gentle giant with the brilliant smile was only 50 years old and a 27 year veteran of the force. We solicit prayers for his family and extended blue family. @PhillyPolice @PPD09Dist

Sadly on Friday we lost active Police Officer Anthony Griffin from the @PPD16Dist due to injuries sustained from a medical emergency a few weeks ago. I solicit prayers for his family, friends, and coworkers during this difficult time! He was only 53 and served for 25 years.

Sadly our agency mourns the loss of Active Police Officer Cynthia Felicetti at the age of 51. She lost a courageous battle with cancer last night after serving for 31 years. Prayers are solicited for her family and those who knew her during this tragic time.

Awake to the sad news of Active Officer Matthew Conaway passing away to undetermined causes at only 54 years. Matt spent his 27 year career entirely in the 39th District! I supervised him from 2011-2012 as he worked the beat on the 22nd St corridor. A funny man who will be missed

Last night active strike force officer Brant “Bo” Miles succumbed to the effects of mental illness! 58 years too young with 26 honorable years of service and service to our country as a drill sergeant in the US Army! Prayers for his family, friends, & coworkers!

Yesterday our agency lost Active Police Officer George Elby after a bout with cancer! This officer spent his entire career (almost 35 years) in the @PPD12Dist ! We solicit prayers for his family and the men & women of the 12th District!

Sgt Joseph Youse lost a battle with illness earlier today and our agency solicits prayers for his family and co-workers. He was 6 weeks shy of 39 years of service in the PPD and only 62 years of age. He will be missed at the Police Training Center! @PhillyPolice

It is with a heavy heart our department lost active officer Pellum Coaxum after a battle with cancer yesterday! He died far too young at 58 years of age and just 4 months short of 33 years of service! Keep his family and co-workers in prayer during this difficult time!

Our department has a heavy heart this morning with the passing of 47 y/o P/O Erin Tokley to undetermined causes this morning. He was a 24 year veteran assigned to @PPD12Dist but spent the bulk of his career in CAU and @PPD25Dist. Keep his family in prayer during this solemn time.

Today we had the opportunity to recognize Police Officer Dorothy Schrader for not 30, 35, but 40 YEARS of dedicated service to the Philadelphia Department. Yes I’ll do the math for you she started in 1980! Congratulations Dottie on this major milestone! @PhillyPolice
