- Today @PhillyPolice paid our respect to our fallen sister in blue, Police Officer Lynneice Hill-Smith #2390 one last time. We mourn her loss deeply as our hearts and prayers continue to be with her family, peers and friends. We will never forget you.
- We are deeply saddened for the passing of our brother P/O Jaime Roman from the 25th Dist, who was tragically shot in the line of duty this past June. Despite his brave efforts to recover, he lost his battle last night. This is a profound loss for the entire PPD family.💙🙏
- The 24th District Family would like to say thank you to all of our friends and family from the department and the community. We are pleased to announce that Police Officer Paul Sulock has been released from Temple Hospital and has returned home to his family to recover.
- Today, we honor the memory of Sergeant Timothy Simpson, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on November 17, 2008. With 20 years of dedicated service in the Philadelphia Police Department his legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife and three children.

- 24th District Police Officers Schweizer and Pross made an excellent arrest at 3100 Jasper Street on Wednesday 11-28-18. Recovered were Narcotics and an SKS Rifle and two handguns. Our streets and District is safer due to the excellent work of these Officers.
- Students from St. Cecilia School presented Police Officer Sulock and Police Officer O"Hanlon thank you cards for their service. The students wanted to show their appreciation to the officers of the 24th District. Thank you for your kind words and support.

- Excellent Gun arrest by Officers Ditro and Creely at 500 E. Allegheny on Monday 11-19-18. Recovered was a .380 Taurus semi-auto pistol. One more gun removed off the streets and out of the hands of criminals. Keep up the good work.
