    Nobody is “confiscating land”. It did happen in the 60s, 70s and 80s, though, negatively affecting black South Africans. The current redress process IS highly contentious and many don’t agree with the chosen legislative mechanism, but there is no land being grabbed. Do research

    I am no longer going to use the term “loadshedding” in any reporting on #Eskom. We’re dealing with blackouts and power failures. The term is an Eskom concoction that serves to massage the disaster-prone SOE’s image.
