Can’t imagine being 20 years young, winning an extraordinary almost 5 hour final, and speak in your second language in front of royalty, 15,000 and a world wide TV and doing it with such maturity and humor.

- On left is empty chair on the tennis court at my Mom’s farm north of Baltimore after my sister and I hit some this morning. On right was from 6 weeks ago, the last time my mom saw me play tennis. Mom died 4 weeks ago today and is missed each day. 🙏🏼
- 46 years after playing my first Centre Court match it was special to be back as a coach of Donna. Thanks to @Wimbledon for allowing a warm up for a semifinalist who had not yet played this year on the most special court on the planet. 🙏

- I understand the tradition of men playing 3 of 5 sets in majors, but given the way tennis is played now, the demands of more travel, more extreme heat & the depth in the game making early rounds more demanding, we need to have a shorter format. I hope Ben & Novak are ok.
