- FINAL Plainfield Central 11 Neuqua Valley 4 Wildcats are SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS! Sam Pileggi earns the win on the mound throwing 5 great innings. Brandon Micetich gets the scoring started with a 2-R HR. Offense adds on from there. So proud of everyone associated with this program!
- Special moment-25 players and 5 coaches standing out in RF after the game, not wanting to leave... knowing that crossing the foul line for the final time as a group would end the greatest season in Plainfield Central history. It was an incredible ride with an incredible family.
- Congrats to Coach Hanley on his 2018 Chicago Marathon completion!
- Coach John Rosner has been named a 2019 IHSBCA All Area Coach of the Year! The award is given to only 4 coaches in all of Class 4A for the entire state of Illinois. Coach Rosner is an incredibly deserving recipient of this honor, the program is in great hands. Congrats Coach!
- Plainfield Central 9 Naperville Central 1 The Plainfield Central Wildcats are 2018 IHSA Regional Champions!
- SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS! Plainfield Central beats Neuqua Valley 11-4 to win the 1st Sectional Championship in school history! Congrats to all involved with the program!
- With the Sectional win last night, Plainfield Central is now 28-9. The 28 wins ties the 1975 Wildcat Baseball team for most wins in a season in the 50+ year history of the program. Congratulations to all!
- It was a privilege to see one of Plainfield Central's brightest stars and the toughest person we know today. She comes home from the hospital tomorrow! Keep being strong, it was so great to see you Riley.
- Bobby Boekeloo and Ben Wielgos noticed smoke coming from the house and went around back and saw a fire. They called 911 and went into the house to rescue the dog that was trapped. Unfortunately, the house did suffer damages, but is still standing because of their efforts.We have tremendous players and people in the program. This weekend, we had a pretty remarkable occurrence that went above and beyond normal expectations. While out helping to fundraise for the program, two players knocked on a door (this is important enough for two tweets)
- The Plainfield Central gym is now the Dave Stephens Gym. Congratulations to Coach Stephens, no one is more deserving of this honor and recognition. Fitting that his name will always be hanging in the school where he helped make so many students better people and players.
- Jason will always be a part of Plainfield Central Wildcat Baseball. We will remember fondly all the time we were lucky enough to have with him. It was very difficult to leave an interaction with Jason without smiling. It's tough to genuinely make other people happy like he did
