- Happy Birthday to #Pittsburgh’s Smithfield Street Bridge! The iconic @DowntownPitt span opened #OnThisDay in 1883. It has been widened twice & the current portals featuring @CityPGH’s Seal were installed in 1915. A National Landmark, it remains the 2nd oldest steel bridge.
- Almost to the finish line! The Schenley Park Skating Rink will be opening for the season soon. This fantastic project has completely renovated this beloved attraction in #Pittsburgh’s historic Schenley Park. The new equipment will also allow for a longer skating season!
- The water is flowing this evening in #Pittsburgh’s oldest park! The newly restored Victorian fountain is already captivating North Side residents and a recently cleaned Lake Elizabeth is rising fast! Together with @pittsburghparks, we’re working to restore Allegheny Commons.

- We’ve received many inquiries on Frick Park’s Blue Slide Playground. Our Architects pulled its design plan which was approved for construction by @CityPGH in April of 1959. The playground likely opened in early 1960. The slide was once red, and would be painted blue years later.
- 5...4...3...2...1! The fountain in #Pittsburgh’s oldest park has returned! Tonight, @CityPGH joined @pittsburghparks to dedicate the new Northeast Fountain at historic Allegheny Commons Park.
