    You are exactly right @GeorgeChiesa this is what I've been trying to say all along. Even if #CambridgeAnalytica deleted raw @facebook data, they kept the models and therefore were still using that dataset. Same with every other client they had from the NRA, to Ted Cruz, to GOP...

    with respect, if a model has an absurdly high overfitting (which is a technical ML term) - like the @iconews appears to suggest in pages 16-17 of the latest report on the subject - then it's unlikely than a model can be said NOT to be functionally equivalent to the input data...
