- More human beings watched Japan-Korea than any single game of the World Series (by a lot). You don't get to call the World Baseball Classic "a made up exhibition" just because you don't like it.

- Red Sox are playing New York, New York in the clubhouse right now
- David Ortiz is in the Hall of Fame. I think it's neat
- Pablo Sandoval hit a walkoff home run for the Giants to end their season. In classic Sandoval fashion, it cost the team the # 1 overall pick
- Joe Kelly talking on NESN right now. Said LeVangie sat the bullpen down before Game 1 of the ALDS and showed them a slide show of all the headlines saying the bullpen was why the Sox wouldn't win it all. Then he showed them a video of every strikeout from the bullpen all year.
- Hard to overstate what Remy meant for me, and most of you I'd assume, as a young fan. Baseball can be a grind to follow on a day-to-day basis, but no one was better at making every game, even a mid-June blowout, enthralling and entertaining. RIP to one of the best to ever do it.
- Nearly ten years after NESN fired him, Red Sox fans got a brief and delightful reminder of the way things used to sound - and boy did they sound good! @MattGross87 on @DonOrsillo's return to the Fenway booth.
- The Red Sox should try one of those bases loaded home runs on for size
