- Replying to @CortesSteveYes, my little town - Decorah, IA - has taken in refugees & displaced/undocumented workers. We've helped them find homes, jobs, interpreters, transportation, medical care, attorneys, etc. And they have given back even more to the community of which they are a part: Humanity.
- Replying to @DMRegisterMy husband worked with refugee services in NE Iowa. Both of us have taught English as a second language to refugees and immigrants from Central and South America, from Eastern Europe, from Africa, from Asia. Migrant children are not the problem. @IAGovernor is the problem.
