This is Amy-Lynn. An endoscopy nurse at The Ottawa Hospital, who has recently been redeployed to the ICU. Here she is with a beautiful song for our patients... “You are not alone”. Thank you for lifting our spirits, Amy-Lynn! 💙 #StrongerTogether

We would like to thank first responders and our regional partners for their action and collaboration during this incident, as well as our staff and physicians for continuing to help those in need. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the collision at Westboro Station.

Being in the hospital doesn’t stop Daniel McGlinchey from achieving his goals! He ran a marathon (44 km, to be exact) by doing laps of the unit where he is staying. Some of the staff decided to surprise him at the finish line... with a few tears. Way to go, Daniel! 👏🏻

We couldn’t let Dr. Jack Kitts walk out of the hospital for the last time as President and CEO without a proper send-off ... masks included, of course! Watch as staff show their appreciation for everything the has done. Thank you, Jack!

The Ottawa Hospital is experiencing increased pressures on both Emergency Departments and ambulance offload processes. This is primarily due to COVID-19 outbreaks, combined with staffing shortages related to COVID-19 illness or exposure. 1/3

Due to recent Emergency Department closures in our region, The Ottawa Hospital’s Emergency Departments will likely experience higher-than-usual patient volumes, which will result in much longer wait times. [1/4]
