    This is the last time I'll say it (hopefully) so let's be clear: Art doesn't exist in a vacuum. Art is made by people who have beliefs and biases, and they show up in their art whether knowingly or not. Art is used to communicate ideas and themes. Art is inherently political.

    It might be a surprise to some of the malicious people out there, but saying "culture is more than skin color" doesn't fucking mean anything because PEOPLE make their cultures what they are. Stealing the aesthetic of a culture while ignoring its people is ugly and cowardly.
