- Deeply honoured to be inaugurated this evening as President of Engineers Ireland. Looking forward to working with members and with the outstanding @EngineerIreland team over the next year to deliver creative and sustainable solutions at this time of disruption and opportunity.
- PhDs are an essential part of our research system & our economy, and we have great PhD opportunities in Ireland. But it is past time to increase the national stipend level. Thanks to @KOSullivanIT @IrishTimes for our conversation on this.

He, like my sister Emer whose second anniversary we marked on Sunday, was a dedicated public servant and an inspiration to me. They will be forever in my thoughts.

- Thanks to all who attended my @EngineerIreland Presidential Address yesterday in person or online, and to the Engineers Ireland team who did so much work to arrange our first hybrid event. It was particularly special for me to have lots of my family there, including my Dad.
- I am delighted that @ucddublin Governing Authority today approved the appointment of Prof. @ColizScott as UCD Registrar, Deputy President and VP for Academic Affairs. Colin is a creative and brilliant colleague, and I greatly look forward to working with him in his new role.
- A very special evening for our family, as the Faculty of Public Heath Medicine @RCPI_news names a medal in memory of my sister Dr Emer Feely, a brilliant and beloved public health doctor.
- Office emptied as I make way for @HelenMRoche, who will be a brilliant VP for Research, Innovation & Impact for @ucddublin. Thanks to all inside and outside UCD with whom I have worked during my time in the role, particularly the brilliant teams in @UCD_Research & @UCDinnovation.

- Today @ColizScott takes up the role of @ucddublin Registrar, Deputy President and Vice-President for Academic Affairs. Colin will be terrific in this role, and I am greatly looking forward to working with him in this new capacity.
