    ‼️ Today El Salvador blocked access to Telegram OONI data shows that access to @telegram is blocked on at least 5 networks in #ElSalvador, starting from ~ 4am UTC on 15th September 2024. Some ISPs blocked Telegram IPs, while others blocked Telegram by means of TLS interference.

    πŸ”΄ For the first time, we are observing the blocking of @telegram in #Kenya. Amid national exams (#KCSE2023), OONI data shows intermittent signs of Telegram blocking on several networks. The timings of the blocks correlate with the timing of the exams. More info below πŸ‘‡

    China now blocks all language editions of Wikipedia ooni.io/post/2019-chin… We found that all *.wikipedia.org language editions are blocked in China by means of DNS injection & SNI filtering. We share OONI data via our latest report. #China #Censorship #Wikipedia #KeepitOn
