There is nothing more insufferable than reading about an apathetic white man. Meursault is a disgusting person and deserves exactly what he gets. Everything about The Stranger is painfully and obviously written by a white man. Every woman is described only in relation to the men in their lives and seen as nuisances by these men. Their physical descriptions are also reduced to emphasis on their breasts. Meursault, like Camus, is a white Frenchman living in Morocco with the crux of the story his trial for murdering an Arab man. And the whole story reeks of colonialist self-pity.
