    Ethereum raised 18M ish to become the dominant network of today. Today, all these new L1 (monolithic) chains and L2s need 9 digits of funding to build and scale. Something is not right
    Much of the value in crypto has been built with very little or even no funding. Etherscan, DeFiLlama, DeFi 1.0, etc. still dominate despite huge investments in competition. There's almost no correlation between progress & level of investment — to a degree that's worth studying.
