- Omaha Fire crews stepping up to help Fremont Fire. One Engine crew and one Battalion Chief are responding to calls in Fremont so the Fremont firefighters can rest and deal with their own flood issues.

- Omaha Firefighters treated two cats after they were rescued from a house fire this morning near 126th and Maple. Care was transferred to @NEHumaneSociety. Crews used oxygen masks provided by the @fetchfoundation.

- #FirefighterFriday - Captain Dave “Pugsley” Kirchofer. Hired on OFD in 1998, he is assigned to E33B. Dave’s most memorable call is the International Nutrition collapse. Dave has a degree in education and has coached Creighton Prep B football team for 24+ years!

- Today is the anniversary of the tragic shooting at Von Maur which claimed the lives of eight innocent people. Please join us today as we remember and support those who were impacted. We will never forget.
