- Brad Norton, like ALL of our players, is an amazing young man. That’s a credit to the MOM, Lisa (& husband Todd). Lisa passed away on Nov 13, 2017. Lisa, you are the BEST mom EVER. We know you are in Heaven watching over Brad, Erica, & the Gades. You will ALWAYS be remembered!
- Ohlone Baseball is FAMILY - every player is forever a Renegade. Jackson Nystrom (2023) is one of the BEST players and persons we’ve EVER had. Recently, Jackson (currently playing at USF), was diagnosed with cancer. We ask prayers for his recovery. The Gades are here for you Nys!
- Ohlone pitchers look strong w/ 15 K’s last night against Division I Santa Clara. Great opportunity to play a well-coached, hard-working, detail-oriented D I program. They have tremendous talent. SCU Baseball, its coaches/players, & Schott Stadium are top-notch. Thank you, SCU.

- Redshirting is taboo to many who think JC baseball will be easy. Last fall, our staff spoke to @EmmittPhinney about benefits of a RS. We had 6’3 to 6’6 guys all over the field; he could gain experience, strength, size. Yesterday was his first college AB; ball not found yet. 👏 💣
00:00 - CONFERENCE CHAMPS!!! The 2023 Ohlone College Renegades are crowned Coast Conference Champions for the 6th straight year! The Gades were 3 games out first with 6 games left back on April 15th - they needed to win 6 straight games the past two weeks to pull off the miracle finish!

- I got to spend a week coaching in Asia last year w/ Orange Coast HC John Altobelli. He was a WONDERFUL guy. I texted him at 11:00 this morn to offer comfort, knowing he was friends w/ Kobe Bryant. Found out 1 hr ago he was on the flight. May God bless you Alto. Devastating.
- Congrats to the GOAT! Cam Calvillo has committed to Division I Gonzaga. Calvillo’s hard work saw him hit .364 this year, with 11 extra base hits and 15/16 SB’s. He has a +arm across the infield. #Respect #renegadeforlife
- Ohlone Baseball announces the addition of Nick Sanzeri. “Nick is outstanding in his development of arms,” according to Coach Curran. Sanzeri comes to The OC from D1 UOP. He has tutored close to 100 Division I arms, and 20 MLB / MiLB arms. “He’s a great guy, and great teacher.”
