There is no agenda. Put your tin foil hat away. It’s because you’re reading an English tabloid that’s linking the story to the English club. If you look at the papers in Spain he’s referenced to Real Madrid. If you’re looking at an Italian tabloid he’s linked to Milan.
This comment was aimed at the press, not the fans. However it is strange that someone in our own supporter base has deliberately insinuated it's a dig at the fans (picture cupping ear) in order to drive a negative image around a positive moment.
