The story of Wakanda is not that they had Vibranium, it's that they learnt how to process it and extract value from it before the world found out about it. If the world discovered it before they figured out how to mine it, you wouldn't have Wakanda, you'll have Congo.

Jon Stewart stepping out of the spotlight completely for 4yrs+ to allow Trevor Noah develop fully into his own voice in the Daily Show is one of the most selfless thing I've seen in show biz. It's so good to have him back.

I thought the reason Paystack hired me was because I was smart and I had worked with fintech APIs. After I left, Shola told me that the reason he went with me was because I had sold bread 😂 My first job in Lagos was as a supervisor at a new outlet of a walk-in bakery and he…

The strength of Wakanda is not their T'Challas and M'bakus, it's their Shuris. The failure of the last 1000yrs is that we had many M'baku and no Shuris. If it has to take white men to come and show you us value of what we have, then Africa will be valuable and Africans won't.

Shola Akinlade is one of the greatest founders on this continent, no one can mention his name and “toxic” in the same sentence. Greatness and toxicity are not mutually exclusive. Greatness can be kind and humane while still demanding the highest levels of excellence and results.

Fight for your Jollof my brother. Don't let them serve you fried rice simply because of the color of your skin.
It’s too early but I’m excited to attend my first Nigerian wedding :D

Loool just reminds me of those Truppr tech football tournaments where Paystack, Piggyvest teams will bring soft GenZ tech bros (devs, PMs, etc) then Tizeti will bring the people that install their Wi-Fi, Paga will bring their agents 😂
Gym muscles will really embarrass you when put against hard labour muscles smh 😂

Let's leave the past behind. Our M'bakus (Shaka the Zulu, Jaja of Opobo, etc) failed. We have to move on. Let us focus on raising Shuris for the next 100yrs. So that before Oyibo finds natural resources in Africa, our Shuris have made 10 different products with them.

The world is looking into many brand new fields that will define the future for many generations and there are no winners yet - quantum mechanics, renewable energy, multi-planetary life, teleportations. We need to get on NOW. We don't need reparations, we need Shuris.

There's a subtle easter egg here that I absolutely love. Apologize has started calling him Surprise, not Senior Surprise. It's typical when you get very familiar with your senior in Nigerian boarding school. Very nice touch!
