Troopers from the Wilmington Post participated in the 6th Annual Rick Moyer Legacy Foundation Pump n Run 5K, which honors the life of former Clinton County Prosecuting Attorney Rick Moyer. We enjoyed playing a part in honoring his life and contributing to his foundation.

- Please help us congratulate Dispatcher Carol A. Stinnett, Dayton Post, who retired today after 31 years of service to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the citizens of Ohio.
- A driver was recently checked traveling 113 mph in a 70 mph zone on I-70 in Clark County. The driver was issued a citation for speed. So far in Ohio this year, there have been 3,449 drivers cited for driving more than 30 mph over the limit. #SLOWDOWN
- Troopers recently stopped a driver on I-675 in Montgomery County. The driver was checked driving 112 mph in a 65 mph zone. The driver was issued a citation for speed. So far in 2026, there have been 10,155 speed-related crashes statewide. #SLOWDOWN
- Last week, Trooper Shelton was honored by the Springfield Rotary Club with the Service Above Self Award. Congratulations Trooper Shelton!
- On April 17, troopers from our Xenia Post stopped with a speeding vehicle and were quickly alerted that one of the passengers was experiencing a potential overdose. Shortly after our trooper administered Naloxone, the passenger regained consciousness. bit.ly/4ddA0M4

- The @OSHP took part in Safe Communities' #ClickItOrTicket Kick-Off event at the Chick-fil-a Eastgate. We joined out fellow Clermont County first responders, elected officials and the @OHTrafficSafety in promoting safer roads for everyone. We enjoyed meeting everyone.

- This morning, the Patrol participated in a 2-mile formation run around the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force at @WrightPattAFB. Lt. Colonel Josh Swindell delivered remarks. This event is in recognition of Police Week 2026 and hosted by the 88th Security Forces Squadron.
- Yesterday, the Patrol partnered with Kings Island to host a Saved by the Belt recognition ceremony. Eleven individuals were awarded the recognition for wearing a safety belt when they were involved in a traffic crash, thus avoiding serious injury or death.
