    Welcome Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Eric Behrens! Eric taught social studies & served as the Head Boys Basketball Coach & Dean of Students at Central. He was the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Peru State College & loves helping students reach their fullest potential!🥳

    Welcome Head Baseball Coach and PE Teacher Scott Hodges!⚾️ Scott has been with OPS for 23 years as a PE instructor & baseball coach. Hodges served as the head baseball coach at Central from 99-06 & has been at Burke the last 16 years, 11 of those as the head coach.🧢 #OPSProud

    Meet Spanish teacher & Head Varsity Softball coach Katie Palmquist!🥎Katie earned a degree in Spanish Education & her Masters in Curriculum & Instruction. She taught & coached for 9 years at Millard & had 8 state tournament appearances & 4 state championships! 🥳@OmahaPubSchool

    When your principal gets inducted into the Omaha Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame, the entire school wants to celebrate! The best way to do that is a walk IN to show our respect and appreciation for Mr Lee and everything he has accomplished in his legendary career!

    Happy Monday! Have you met our new Varsity Girls Wrestling Coach, Colton Wolfe?🤼‍♀️Colton was a 3-time State Champion & set the All-Class state record for season wins. He wrestled at UNL for 4 years & coached the Columbus Youth Wrestling Org & NE wrestling camps! @OmahaPubSchool

    🏀 We have hired our Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach, Jason Simons! Jason spent 13 seasons coaching & led his team to 3 state championships, 1 runner-up championship, and 1 third place finish! Many of his athletes have gone on to play basketball in college! @OmahaPubSchool
