Marissa is an elementary teacher. She's constantly rationing basic supplies, like paper and pencils. The govt's $750 supplies card won't fix that, as it cuts into existing classroom funding – and does nothing to address the $6.4 billion in chronic underfunding facing #OntEd.

Today is the day #CatholicTeachers walk the picket lines for our students and publicly funded education system. The government’s cuts will send our education system backwards and we are NOT HAVING IT👊 #SOLIDARITY #OECTA #CutsHurtKids #onpoli

#CatholicTeachers stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ students & communities, & strive each & every day to create a safe & welcoming environment for all. @FordNation's comments are shameful, disrespectful, & potentially harmful. #onted #onpoli catholicteachers.ca/News-Events/Ne…

UPDATE: As a result of the #OECTA complaint before the OLRB, the FULL results of the government’s “largest ever” education consultation will become available – proof of opposition to Ford’s cuts will FINALLY see the light of day! #onlab #onpoli #onted
We’ve asked the Minister over and over to release their million dollar consultation report. They refuse. They continue to bury it. We won’t give up. Ontarians deserve to be heard! 🔊 #onpoli #onted

Remember these images the next time the government tries to divide teachers and education workers from their unions, from the public, and from each other. #ontedstrike #EducatorsUnited

Today, @Sflecce announced he was working on a plan to strengthen health and safety protocols in schools after the spring break. He’s been saying the exact same thing since July 2020! When will @fordnation finally step up and #DoMore to protect #onted and keep schools safe?

“CLASS SIZE MATTERS!” #CatholicTeachers are fighting against the government’s increased class size averages. This means courses are being cut and supportive adults are being taken out of the classroom. OUR STUDENTS DESERVE BETTER! #CutsHurtKids #onted #onpoli

Hey @fordnation👋, just wondering... Have you tried actually FUNDING the essential frontline public services, from health care to #onted & beyond, at the levels needed to make them work? Or was privatization your goal all along?😳#onpoli #CatholicTeachers

Today we walk in solidarity with educators across the province FOR our students. This fight is so important. The government has continued to undermine publicly funded education in Ontario. Today we say they'll have to go through us first✊ #onted #onpoli #CatholicTeachers

Unbelievable. @fordnation paid $4.3M in LEGAL COSTS to fight Ontario teachers, nurses, & public sector workers. #OntEd is in crisis. Hospitals are in crisis. The public dollars spent fighting for #Bill124 should've gone toward services Ontarians need.
