    Deputies are on scene at Trabuco Hills High School regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. The school is currently on shelter in place while deputies ensure the campus is safe. At this time, it appears to be an isolated incident and one person has been detained.

    Deputies are currently assisting the California Highway Patrol with locating a suspect who fled from a vehicle they were chasing on the 5 Freeway. You may see our helicopter "Duke" and a drone in the area of Crown Valley and the 5 Freeway. Thank you for your patience.

    Police activity on Cipres in Mission Viejo. A woman in her 60s was reported missing by her adult son at approximately 11:30 p.m. last night. When deputies arrived at the woman’s residence to take a missing persons report, they discovered suspicious circumstances.

    Deputies are currently investigating a possible attempted carjacking in the area of Alicia and Jeronimo. There are numerous resources in the area including our helicopter "Duke." Please be aware of you surroundings and report any suspicious activity.

    **Incident Update*** Shortly before 2 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of Camden in the city of Mission Viejo regarding a man in his 20s suffering from a wound to his abdomen. Deputies responded and rendered aid.
