00:00 - A year ago today we met this beautiful 17ft, 3,500lb Queen of the Ocean Nukumi! She’s the largest animal we’ve been able to sample, tag & release in our NW Atlantic White Shark Study. Her size & scars help tell inspiring stories of her decades helping balance our oceans.
- We just tagged our first ever white shark in Canadian waters! Everybody meet @NovaTheShark. Nova is a male who’s just over 11ft long. We tagged him off the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia. #NovaScotiaExpedition
- Shark number 9 of #ExpeditionNovaScotia just swam off the lift and he was big! The fishing team says he's one of the toughest sharks they’ve ever brought back to the cradle. A tough shark deserves a tough name so say hello to Ironbound! He was also tagged by West Ironbound Island
