A reminder that Andrew Strauss played 100 Tests and retired nearly 12 years ago. And James Anderson debuted before him 🤯

That innings by Suryakumar Yadav was absolutely extraordinary. One of those that, after the match is over and you’ve had chance to take a breath, you feel privileged to have seen live.

Very excited, after two years of work on this project, to finally hold the finished book in my hand. For those who have been patiently asking about it, now available to order here amazon.co.uk/Hitting-Agains… Many thanks to @benjonescricket and @LittleBrownUK for their hard work

Today is my 33rd day in isolation since Feb. I’ve seen my family for a little over 3 weeks in the last 6 months. Most players have had it as bad or worse, plus the pressure of playing. Commentators “…many of these players have had a lot of time off recently…” 😡

Worth noting that Galle is one of the most toss dependent venues in the world. In 33 Tests played there before this series, only once had a visiting team lost the toss and won the match (Pakistan 2000). #SLvENG
