    How crazy would it be if @gvsufootball and @Marist_Fball could meet on the gridiron Saturday. Lets put this game on the books and let a group of players and coaches do what they have been aching to do for over 700 days. They deserve this opportunity. #letthemplay

    Sad to see @CoachMitchGVSU move on to @BadgerFootball because of his friendship, leadership, integrity and passion for @gvsufootball. It was a pleasure to work with him for the last 19 years and I know first-hand about what he stood for and what he did for Laker FB. #AnchorUp

    Extremely proud to be a part of an organization, @gvsufootball, where the HC, @CoachMitchGVSU, does a zoom call with every player on the football roster and the players family to discuss everything pertaining to school, academics and football in relationship to 2020 and beyond.

    I said, how crazy would be if @gvsufootball and another school scheduled a game through twitter. Yep, it was crazy for me to think that. We are still searching for a game. We are getting down to the last hours in which we can make it happen. We will not give up hope. #PleaseCall

    It is so awesome to see opponent fan bases actually paint the GV on their body and showcase it in videos. GV is the bullseye on every opponents schedule for every sport. Keep spreading the brand and the GV. We appreciate it. #AnchorUp

    Grand Valley State is the only team in the country in DII football to hold its opponents under the 1,000-yard mark in both passing and rushing. Opponents have rushed for 996 yards and passed for 973 yards in eight games. #AnchorUp

    WOW. Congrats Kyle. What an honor from the MHSCA. Very proud of how he has handled himself the last 4 years @JenisonWildcats . He did it right and was rewarded with a great high school experience and great memories in all three sports. #gowildcats #multisportathletes

    A living legend in the game of life and college athletics passed today. Joan Boand was a great friend to me and my family when I started at GVSU in 1997 and helped me out in the press box until 2019. Joan was an ambassador for all students and student-athletes at GVSU. #RIP
