- Shedeur Sanders should go in 4th round. There is nothing nefarious here in regards to politics. Sanders did this to himself with film that was nowhere near as good as media made it appear and really bad interview process. He is not ready to play right away.
- All head coach candidates need to turn down the Jags as long as Trent is there. I’m telling you all it is career suicide with that man. Only a fool would work with Trent Baalke with all the stories on him floating around NFL. Don’t be a fool. Say no to Baalke. Heard it here firstIf the Jags retain Trent Baalke, that will certainly affect the candidate list for the HC job.
- I suspect that his father is the one leaking this. The dad is a bulldozer parent and a big reason why I’m glad my franchise didn’t draft Haskins. Good player but the parents are like the Balls. Reporter will say it didn’t come from dad but I would bet it did. His dad is a pain.
00:00 - Gettleman should be arrested for robbery. Stole millions and treated people like crap. He can’t sue me because I have talked to so many folks that I know what went on. It is criminal what he got away with. The scouts are most definitely celebrating his departure. He was hated.
- Kiper needs to shut his mouth. There is actual accountability in the NFL and none in the media. He was suppose to retire when Clausen was a bust. He has no clue but runs his mouth because of ego and he still holds a grudge not one team ever wanted to hire him.
- Just found out friend and 49ers scout Reggie Cobb died of a heart attack last night. RIP Reggie. He was a good player and better person. His smile and presence will be missed.
- Embarrassing for our league that it appears Baalke will be staying with Jags. Khans are ignoring the fans and clearly haven’t talked to people around NFL. He has someone inept who treats people badly as GM. He just made Baalke even more arrogant and boosted ego. Khans don’t care
- Just to pay homage to all the NYG personnel who are celebrating today. News flash to all-star games and media outlets. If you hire Chris Petit don’t ever ask me for help on names ever again.
- The NFL already does a good job of getting eyes on every school of every level but one thing we aren’t doing well enough is developing scouts. Too much nepotism and helping our buddies rather than hiring the best we can.
- Some of the rats in the NYG building are trying to position themselves with Tim and are trying to distance from Gettleman who were the very ones ratting others out to Gettleman when he got there. One specific name I just heard today is Petit.
- When PFF grades lineman they don’t know all the projections and what the OL is asked to do on every play. It makes their grades and who they credit with a sack given up completely bogus. Nobody in personnel uses their value grades at all. It’s all media driven.
- I am becoming very concerned about the future of NFL scouting. A lot of good scouts looking to go to college for the money. I fully expect the talent in our scouting community to decline heavily over next decade if owners/GMs don’t wake up and give competitive pay. I
- Never quit a job without your next job offer, never turn down an all-star game or wait to accept because you think Senior Bowl is coming and don’t have it. Character is how you treat someone that you don’t think can help you. Be smart, have a backup plan, and treat people right.
