So essentially, to summarize all of this at once: the current president of Indonesia altered the constitution multiple times so that his family could hold more political power and ignored the courts. This all has led to rioting by the citizens of Indonesia who want fair democracy

For context,In February of 2024 Indonesia held their presidential election that generated controversy.The son of the current president ran alongside the one of the candidates(a man named prabowo)as VP. This was illegal as you had be older then 40 in Indonesia to run and he was 36
