Luka Doncic tells @malika_andrews about throwing his phone and breaking it when he found out he got traded to the Lakers 😳
"My heart was broken honestly." 💔
I have secured tickets to the 4/9 Lakers game at the AAC. This is going to require coordinated action. We have been subjected to something historic, and we have a chance to respond in kind. Do something historic. They cannot kick us all out.
If Dumont fired Nico tomorrow he would have the potential to have the greatest redemptive arc of any sports exec ever. Fucking axe the guy now and let’s move on
I am a little confused by the idea that the owner who was known for yelling at refs from his courtside seat now becoming the protector and beacon of all fan behavior
I’m going to miss some time. My son needs a surgery on his skull. And it isn’t like a minor thing, unfortunately. I’m going to be gone from the show, probably a lot. I’m not fishing for empathy. I’m just letting the people that make my job a reality know - that’s what it is.
I have thought a lot about whether or not I should say anything about this, and I don’t know that I’m doing the right thing here. I’ve been pretty open about the entire process of fertility, so I’m sort of in a tough spot. Listeners have been so communicative and helpful.
if Luka was such a problem and they had such doubts about him, was it a problem last two summers, when they were clearly adding pieces to fit with him?
We need coordinated chants, and a focus. If you don't want your kids to hear "Fuck You Nico" from 19k for an entire quarter, don't bring them. People who are good at stadium chants, write them. Circulate them.
This needs to be the most memorable and elaborate day of fan revolt the sports world has ever seen. This city gets a lot of shit for sports fandom reputation. In 64 days, we have a chance to change that.
