    Norwell Grad Josh VanMeter - 5th round draft pick by the Padres in 2013 and 2013 State 3A Baseball Champion(winning pitcher) will officially be in the show tomorrow after getting the call up today!! Somebody in Cincy has been watching his hot start in AAA. Congrats Josh!!

    Congratulations to Norwell Senior Luke McBride who set the all-time scoring record tonight. The previous record holder was Darren Archbold with 1811 points. Luke got the record on a 15 foot jumper from the left wing. Awesome Job Luke!

    3A State Champs - left several at Gainbridge a little confused with the blue bandana but we left our mark in the 50th year of the IHSAA Girls Basketball Tournament! Congrats to Coach Thornton and the Lady Knights - made history tonight in front of an incredible crowd! GO KNIGHTS!

    Many thanks to the Northern Wells School Board for passing a resolution to repair and improve current athletic facilities, install a turf surface and add needed restroom facilities to the soccer and softball complexes. We appreciate the investment in our students and community!

    Tonight between games we recognized Luke McBride for scoring his 1,000th point last week. On hand to present him with a commemorative ball were All-time leading scorer Darin Archbold, 2nd all-time scorer Will Geiger and 3rd all-time scorer Josh VanMeter. Congrats Luke.

    Congratulations to Senior Softball player Aubrey Dunnuck who was selected 3rd team All-State and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star games in Bloomington on June 22. First softball player from Norwell selected to play in the series since 2005. Congrats Aubrey!
