    Let's hear it for former NH player Nick Smith, now one of top shooters and scorers IN THE COUNTRY in NCAA Division II. At Nova Southeastern in Fla., Nick is averaging 26.5 a game. He's No. 2 in country in 3-pt. percentage at ridiculous 70.8% (17 of 24). Proud of you, Nick.

    Thanks to Penn State head coach Micah Shrewsbury @PennStateMBB for stopping and watching workout today at North Hills to check out North Hills junior Royce Parham @RoyceParham Coach Shrewsbury has some good things going on at PSU and Royce is one of their top 2024 targets.

    Wow. What a finish - and Royce Parham becomes Mr. Clutch. After South Fayette took 61-59 lead with 4 seconds left, look what happened next. Royce 3-pointer wins it and he finishes with 34, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks.

    A "Shak-ing" development at North Hills tonight. Look who showed up at for a workout. Marquette coach Shaka Smart @CoachShakaSmart came in to see North Hills 6-8 junior Royce Parham @RoyceParham. Oh, and Shaka offered a scholarship. Another big-time offer for Royce.

    Big shoutout and congratulations to North Hills’ “Rolls” Royce Parham on reaching his 1,000th career point in tonight’s win against Moon. Royce, a junior, reached 1,000 faster than any player in North Hills history.

    This has never been said before in the history of North Hills High School: North Hills is in Elite 8 of the state playoffs. NH crushed Norristown, 77-57, in 2nd-round game today. Alex Smith had 27. Royce Parham 22, 10 rebounds, 6 blocks, 5 dunks. Devin Burgess and Matt Seidl 13.

    A year ago, Matt Seidl was helping North Hills to WPIAL championship game. Yesterday, he broke a 50-year-old scoring freshman scoring record at Washington & Jefferson. Matt leads team in scoring at 15 ppg. W&J finished regular season first in PAC. Way to go, Matt.

    Sad, sad news for North Hills basketball. The man known to everyone as just "Woody" has passed away. "Woody" Woodburn was 9th grade coach for many years and longtime teacher in the district before retiring. Did so much for NH basketball. RIP Woody, you will be missed by many.
