For all those who said Paul Maurice was the reason the Jets didn't succeed - I hope you are able to admit that you may have actually been wrong. It was the players. Not the coach. Not the system. It was the players. I for one hope he wins his Cup. He deserves it.

I love how P.K. Subban tweets out how he gave some kid in a Predators jersey a stick. Good on you P.K. Carey Price hugs a kid who lost his mother to cancer and doesn't tweet out a thing. One person needs to be noticed. The other doesn't care about the recognition.

What people fail to realize, is that Lowry isn't a fighter. Can he fight? Sure. But he's no heavyweight. What he does is out of pure character and refusal to be bullied, or have his teammates bullied. Dude is the epitome of what a captain should be.

I drove by the legislative grounds today, and there was a huge American flag - 4 times the size of the largest Canadian flag, waving in the breeze. I can't relay to you how much that angered me. It looked like our provincial capital was being occupied by a foreign land.

I was a proponent for blowing it up. Getting rid of 55, 37, and whoever else didn't want to be here. I cannot explain how unbelievably wrong I was. 55 is now one of the best centers in the NHL. 37 is exactly who he has always been. This team has made the league take notice.
