I'm totally confused. I watch the tv showing UK Government adverts advising us things are slowly returning to normal - I can go to work, use public transport, go to the gym, go to shops (Mostly indoors), but I can't watch a Step 7 football friendly outdoors? Utter bollocks!!

It seems impossible that a 21 year old can go play a #football match on a Saturday for @ChiCityFC yet suffer injuries on the pitch that proved to be fatal. 21. I'm stunned into tears. #RIP Billy Vigar. Love, strength and courage to family and friends at these most tragic times

Wonderful by @SalfordCityFC - huge respect to those connected with the club @GNev2

Anyone else think the continual use of 'non-elite' to describe anything below the National League North and South is just a bit patronising given it is where we can find the real heart and soul of our game and given the many 1000s who benefit from these proper community clubs?

The #football authorities talk about 'well-being' 'safeguarding' 'integrity of the league' etc - next time the pros complain about fixture congestion I give you the April run for Step 6 and very much part-time @Sandhursttownfc

This is horrific news - heart-wrenching and tragic. Wishing family, friends and all at the club love, strength and courage at these most cruel and difficult of times. #RIPJames - rest well and rest in peace.

Anyone know what is going on in the @TheVanaramaNL South this evening?

I know there is a huge debate around the rights/wrongs of 3G pitches but the fact remains that Man United can play on a 3G pitch in the Champions League, yet no club can keep their 3G pitch should they win promotion from the National League to League Two!!

The @EmiratesFACup farce: Saturday 24 October @BanburyUnitedFC hosted @BuryTownFC from the @IsthmianLeague North attendance 600 Weekend of 7 November @BanburyUnitedFC host @CIFC from the @IsthmianLeague North - Behind Closed Doors attendance = 0 Thanks @FA for FA!!

So am I reading this right? #Grassroots #football should have been allowed to continue - but @FA advised against it? The same FA who endorsed the #nullandvoid across Steps 3-7? The same FA who cut the #facup prize money? Is #nonleague that much of an embarrassment to the FA?

Finally @FA and @DCMS please explain: Why can 1000s meet at the beach? Why 10m can eat out to help out? Why are pubs, gyms, swimming pools etc open with measures in place to control access? Yet 100 people can't socially distance outdoors to watch a #NonLeague match?

At a lot of #nonleague grounds you'll be able to get in, buy a programme, get a pint, have a burger and even buy a badge for less than the price of this!!
Double cheeseburger and chips at Arsenal (@Arsenal) 💷 £18.05 (added photo for proof because we didn’t even believe it at first)

How about every Premier League give £10,000 to their 25 nearest #NonLeague #football teams - do more for the future of our game?
