It’s time for another months-long thread of pictures from a national park as I edit them. This one is for Glacier National Park! Glacier is absolutely my favorite US national park I’ve been to. @eleslie_wx and I were blown away every day we were there.

Life news: excited to say that this August, I'll be starting my full-time Weather Service career right here with NWS Norman! I love the weather and the people out here on the southern Plains, and I'm excited to continue to call Norman home!

How did that look in real time? The first-ever LIVE tornado warning using Taller TIM issued by an NWS meteorologist occurred today during the HWT shakedown! (I like the matching footprints for hazards)

Yet another memorable night last night. Issued my first career tornado warning(s), starting off with a considerable tag - and also had the Norman circulation pass nearly directly over my house 🫠.

I liked it so I put a ring on it

At a gas stationn in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Sheriff says, “Know what the forecast was today? 80 and sunny. Don’t you wish you could be paid to be wrong as much as weather people?” He then walks into the gas station and uses the women’s bathroom.

Well. My first night as the primary tornado warning forecaster was memorable.
