    been watching this clip and thinking about how right this person is about narratives getting built around the people protecting themselves. Like how quickly the story here became "THE PROTESTERS HAVE THEIR OWN SHIELDS" as if that action was taken for no reason at all

    met one of my dearest pals thru this kind of arrangement years ago & when our girlfriends broke up with us (within like 2 weeks of each other) there was this really sweet moment that was like “hey man…I think we have something special and I don’t want this to be the end for us”
