    I don't think that Johnson and his government care what damage they inflict on us. They believe that the suffering will unite us, behind them, in the resentment of the EU that they will blame it on. I really believe that's been the plan all along. Dominate the weakened.

    Unfortunately the government has now made it illegal to hoist the EU flag without asking for special permission. Would be a very interesting test of this stupid rule.

    Isn't it a bit rich for Conservative MPs to grumble about the lack of an appeal system for their own standards, but to airily support a Nationality Bill that gives powers to strip individuals of their Nationality without either informing them or giving any method of appeal?
