- We should never see an American flag that says “Made in China.” I’m introducing legislation to ensure all flags purchased with taxpayer dollars be made in America.
- Ohio may not be a border state but the crisis affects us here every day. The drugs ravaging our communities come across the southern border and end up on our streets. We MUST secure the border.
- Trafficking fentanyl is NOT a victimless crime. 175 Americans are killed by fentanyl every single day. Our workforce and our families are suffering. We need to support law enforcement and increase penalties for the people bringing this poison into our community.
- The middle class is getting crushed by 8.5% inflation. Families shouldn’t be forced to choose between buying groceries and gasoline, but that’s the reality for millions of Americans today. Our leaders and their policies have failed us.
- High gas prices don’t just affect our wallets at the pump. They drive up costs for the farmers who produce our food and the transportation that brings it to grocery store shelves. President Biden needs to change course and support producing energy here in the United States.
- While families are struggling to afford three meals a day, the Democrats, including Tim Ryan, just voted to raise taxes. The Inflation Reduction Act will only make inflation WORSE and continue to hurt Ohioans that are struggling to make ends meet.
- Joe Biden talks about high energy prices as being necessary to "transition" to green energy. This "transition" has caused severe economic hardship and will continue to hurt families throughout America until these policies end. Energy independence is vital to our success!
- Ohio may be 1,500 miles from the border, but we’re still impacted by the crisis every day. Fentanyl devastates our youth, and Ohio is still one of the worst states for human trafficking. We need to address the root cause: the southern border.
- Inflation hit a 41-year high last month. The cost of food, rent, and gas continue to rise at a record pace. It's clear the folks in DC won't admit that their failed policies are causing the American people to suffer. November is coming – we must demand accountability.
- Democratic policies have failed the middle class. The average American worker’s wages have gone down by $3,400 since Joe Biden took office. We have to reject the Biden agenda and all those who support it this November.
- Joe Biden’s failure to keep America energy independent has forced us to cope with month after month of record-high prices. We need to work with state governments to maximize drilling and produce more energy here at home!
