.@ITK_CanadaInuit’s Natan Obed slams the media who asked SNC Lavalin-related questions during the presser following the TB apology to Inuit. The media has a role in reconciliation, too. I don’t want to quote him in this tweet in case I misquote, but his plea is worth a listen.

Right now, Canada's 2nd northernmost community of Resolute Bay, is in a blizzard. Snowfall & 90kmh winds. There were rumours the poll was closed. But it's open. Elections Canada spokesperson confirming via text "the workers want to stay." Stick tap to those workers. #Elxn43

The United States national anthem is booed in Ottawa ahead of the Senators and Wild game amid tariffs from US President Donald Trump. Caught the end of it, but it was booed for the first part of the anthem as well.

Nunavik is not Nunavut. Inuk: singular Inuit: plural "TA-pee-reet" (not ta-pa-rit) "Ka-NA-ta-mi" (not kana-TA-mi) "EE-nuke-tee-toot", not "EE-nuck-ta-tuck". A byproduct of having an Inuk GG will surely be an improvement of Inuktitut pronunciation in the south. Give it time.
