Someone just said on the news that "James McDonald is the leading jockey in Australia". Have we changed, or is it me? 20 years ago I could have named several jockeys, despite having no interest in racing. They were ubiquitous. Now, none. And I've never heard of this'un?

Today I punted all day at Randwick and loved it. Kept punting on Pinjarra while eating Chinese. Was a dog expert when I got home, even gave the trots a run But then Kenilworth came on and it was like someone turned the lights on at 6am in a nightclub That’s the end.
