00:00 - The United States is the proud inventor of GPS. It’s a critical asset that should not be left without a backup. Both China and Russia have built resilient, terrestrial backups to space-based PNT. America does not yet have one. With a rise in GPS attacks across the globe,
- GPS is foundational to our way of life, but is vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, cyber-attacks and more. According to NIST, a GPS outage would cost the U.S. economy $1 billion per day (1.6 billion with inflation). That is a cost America cannot afford:
