- A log jam on the NB expressway due to a beaver Xing lanes. The expressway was closed to get it off the road. All lanes open. #OnlyinCanada.
- We're hearing reports from several *401 callers of a large fire in Kitchener in the Grand View Woods North area just west of Sportworld. That fire is creating a visual distraction / smoke for traffic on HWY 8 through the area of the Grand River.
- All WB 401 lanes in LONDON at Union Rd are CLOSED for multiple jack-knifed tractor trailers. OPP says reopening time unknown.
- JUST IN: Franklin Boulevard now REOPEN between Pinebush and Jamieson. WB 401 on-ramp from Franklin remains closed.Some more #GoodNews for motorists in Waterloo Region - the Franklin Boulevard bridge in @cityofcambridge is now REOPEN between Pinebush and Jamieson! However, the WB 401 on-ramp from Franklin remains CLOSED at this time.
- UPDATE: HWY 7/8 now CLOSED in both directions from Foundry to Queen due to downed hydro lines; no current reopening time known, avoid area and use caution.
