- It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Daniel Rako. He was one of the greatest supporters of New Albany Football since he was old enough to attend our games. He will be greatly missed on our sideline. Our thoughts are with Daniel's family.
- 18 years, the past five as head coach. 39-20 overall with three D-II regional runner-up finishes and two OCC-Capital championships. Thank you.
- Coach Kidwell has resigned Kidwell has been coaching football for 24 years. He has coached at New Albany for 17 years, with the last 4 years serving as the Head Coach. During that time, Coach Kidwell accumulated a record of 31 wins and 11 losses. naeagles.com/2022/01/10/bub…
- Matthew (Bubba) Kidwell has been selected as the next Head Coach of the New Albany High School football program.
- Straight from the release: "Overnight, (Kidwell) was evaluated at an urgent care and ultimately transported to the hospital with heart attack symptoms. Preliminary results indicate that Coach did have a heart attack and he is currently undergoing tests and observation."
