I have never used @twitter to discuss very personal matters but… This morning I lost my greatest friend and mentor. My father: Martin H. Floch MD He was a proud family man who also loved his work. He boasted only about how much he loved his job. He had incredible vision

I will be happy to call for a @NRA consult the next time I am pulling bullets out a patient’s abdomen and stapling their guts closed. Hopefully we will never have children slaughtered in our schools again in this state of #Connecticut

I like most all physicians in private practice in Connecticut lost my practice as insurance companies stopped paying us reasonable rates for seeing patients and performing surgery. The government supported the vertically integrated insurance companies, doctors went into debt,
When 3 vertically integrated insurance companies control 90 pct of every insurance and provider market , what happens then ?

This is why non employed doctors are getting crushed. My surgeon was paid $456 for an hour+ long robotic abdominal procedure. And if you knew the anatomy, risks, training needed, etc… is just an absurdly low sum of $. Stop telling me it’s the doctors fees. And. He didn’t

This is tragic. You are IMHO the MOST influential leader in food research. The world has benefited greatly from the results of your studies. I hope that you will find a new home with ample financial support to continue your research.
