I started my ADHD pills this week. I got diagnosed late in life (about 6 months ago)
And yoooooooo….Is this how you all have been living?
The amount of things I’m getting done is phenomenal.
This process has honestly changed my life lol

- Replying to @NegoTrueIt’s not even the meds. Finding out has been massive. I put everything down to effort. So, when I got distracted & didn’t do well in exams, distracted in dialogue, tidying etc. I would conclude I need to try harder. Then doctors say “Yo, you’re trying, u just wired different” ???

- Replying to @NegoTrueAfter diagnosis, there’s meds. Alternatively they offer counselling, diets etc. Get checked if you think you got it Again, even the diagnosis changed everything. People around me gave grace cause they understood, I gave myself grace, I found better ways to do things. Miracle lol
- Replying to @NegoTrueLastly. 1 thing I learned after being diagnosed that I wish I knew before (maybe I was ignorant) Some foods heighten your symptoms You can find lists on Google. When my doctor diagnosed me, they gave me a list…& most foods on the list I ate regularly lol little changes help
