HUGE add for Michigan State 2023-2024 hockey roster. Defenseman Artyom Levshunov, ranked as high as third overall on 2024 NHL Draft boards, is on campus and will suit up for the Spartans this upcoming season. 13 goals and 29 assists with Green Bay in the USHL last year.

MSU hockey has landed a commitment from NTDP goaltender Trey Augustine. Called up last year to the U18s by Nightingale as a 17-year old. Decommited from Michigan earlier today. ‘05 South Lyon native. Hockey staff get a huge flip and land their potential goalie of the future.

Michigan State hockey picks up a commitment from Matthew Lahey - 6’5 defenseman playing with Fargo in the USHL. Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick. Visited multiple Big Ten and Hockey East schools before deciding to go with the Spartans.

Michigan State hockey lands a commitment from forward Eric Nilson. 2025 Draft eligible player ranked 7th overall in NHL Central Scouting rankings for European skaters. Won a silver medal with Sweden at the U18 World Championships. He’s the son of former NHL player Marcus Nilson.
